Yinghua Academy Students Take Two First Place Awards at the 2025 National Chinese Speech Contest

Yinghua Academy is proud to announce multiple winners in the 2025 National Chinese Speech Contest (NCSC) across all three categories: Heritage Language Group, World Language Group, Immersion Program Group.  Students and teachers are both recognized through this competition.

This year's theme was Encountering Chinese: Exploring the Wonderful Journey of Language and Culture. Participants developed their own topics based on their Chinese language and culture learning experiences. Students shared how they have understood and integrated Chinese culture during their Chinese language learning process, including how this experience has transformed their worldview.

This year, Yinghua Academy students and teachers received the following awards: 2 First Place, 4 Second Place, 3 Third Place, 11 Honorable Mention. Follow the link below to view video of all of the winners.

The American Academy of International Culture and Education (AAICE) sponsors the National Chinese Speech Contest.  Students in grades 3-12, and college-level Chinese language learners, in the U.S. and Canada are invited to participate in the contest. Participants need to be enrolled in a Chinese language program in a state-registered accredited school. Prizes are awarded to both the student winners and their teachers.
