Cologne Academy is among the 93 schools representing 41 districts and 5 districtwide programs to be honored by MDE Commissioner Willie Jett on August 14, 2025. These schools have demonstrated exceptional leadership in improving school climate, engaging the community, and increasing student achievement through continued work in implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).

NEW SCHOOL CHARTER SCHOOL APPLICATION DUE DATE
Letter of Intent Due: November 1, 2026, for a January 2027 application submission.
Applications Due: January 14, 2027. Applications are submitted through Friends of Education's application portal.
